IRVINE, Calif. (August 12, 2013) – Sage North America today announced that the Sage Construction and Real Estate educational e-book, “The Construction Executive’s Interactive Guide to Business Visibility – Part 1: Reporting,” won a bronze award in the Content Marketing Institute’s 2013 Content Marketing Awards. Sage was recognized in the Best Publication for a Mobile Device category.
The Content Marketing Institute formed its awards program to recognize the best examples of content marketing across every medium and strategic communication purpose. This year, the international competition received more than 800 entries. A panel of judges graded the entries on several criteria, including: informational and entertainment value, quality of writing, creative use of imagery and typography, and consistency of color palette and style. Other winners in the Best Publication for a Mobile Device category were Google (gold award) and KircherBurkhardt GmbH for its work with Volkswagen (silver award).

The e-book is the first installment in a series of interactive e-books, optimized for tablet viewing, and developed with brand innovation agency Speak!. The e-books help construction professionals gain business visibility so they can be “Job Ready.” Through its Job Ready website, Sage provides resources including the e-books, case studies, expert insights, and practical tips on a series of topics to help construction and real estate organizations focus on key business concerns. Business Visibility, the first Job Ready topic, focuses on the five types of visibility every construction firm should have: reporting, to know what happened in the past; monitoring, to know what’s happening now; analyzing, to understand why things happened; predicting, to know what might happen; and mobilizing to access key project data from anywhere.
